When you build a home, you’re not just building for today, you’re building for the years ahead and it is built into every home. At Hudson Homes, we believe a house should be a home for a lifetime, which is why we’re proud to introduce our Lifetime Structural Integrity Guarantee.
This guarantee is built on the standards we uphold, the systems we follow and the people behind every Hudson Homes build, supporting our customers well beyond handover.
What is the Lifetime Structural Integrity Guarantee?
Our Lifetime Structural Integrity Guarantee provides lifetime assurance on the key structural elements of your new Hudson home. It’s designed to give you long-term peace of mind, knowing that the most important components of your home are protected well beyond handover.
If a structural failure occurs to an eligible structural component, Hudson Homes will repair it at no cost to you, subject to the terms and conditions of the guarantee.
What structural elements are covered?
The guarantee applies to essential load-bearing components of your home, including:
Foundations and footings, constructed in accordance with the Building Code of Australia and AS 2870
Framing structures, including timber or steel used in load-bearing walls and roof structures, in line with AS 1684
Load-bearing masonry, such as brickwork or blockwork, built to AS 4773
A structural failure is defined as damage classified as Category 3 or higher under AS 2870.
How does this work with Australian Consumer Law?
Our Lifetime Structural Integrity Guarantee is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, not as a replacement. It complements existing statutory warranties, consumer protections and building insurance required by Australian law.
In other words, it’s an extra layer of assurance because we believe in going above and beyond for our customers.
Who is eligible for the guarantee?
The Lifetime Structural Integrity Guarantee applies to:
Original homeowners listed on the building contract
New home building contracts entered into from 1 August 2025
Contracts where the Lifetime Structural Integrity Guarantee is specifically offered in the Tender or Building Contract and supported by a signed Lifetime Structural Integrity Guarantee Certificate
Please note that the guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to eligible contracts.
